Candidates for The Maddy Harradence Team for the ANMF (Vic Branch): Emma Foreman (President), Sam Casey (Assistant Secretary), Maddy Harradence (Secretary), Nicole Allan (Assistant Secretary) and Natalie Bernard (Vice-President)
“This election is a critical moment in our union’s history.
We are passionate about our professions, and understand a union’s core business is to represent its members – and work hard to improve your wages and working lives. In ANMF’s case, we must also protect and improve members’ ability to provide safe patient care.
Our leadership team has the experience, skill, commitment and determination to protect our professions, and to progress the working lives of nurses, midwives and carers. We will listen, advocate, campaign and, when we have to, fight.
Our 23 candidates are representative of the workforce and ANMF members. We come from diverse areas across the nursing and midwifery professions, and have experience as personal care workers, RUSONs, and in advanced practice. We work in public, private, regional and metro services. This is not the case for the other candidates.
If we have the honour of being elected, we are committed to continuing the ANMF (Vic Branch) work for safer workplaces, strong wage outcomes, low union fees, and expanded ratios and safe staffing – no matter where you work.”
